2007-03-29 [windowframe]: I'm not sure I'm too keen on mixing the ECM with the RP Council - has Hedda approved of this?

2007-03-29 [Sunrose]: Eh?

2007-03-29 [windowframe]: The Fantasy Human Contest seems more like an RP Council contest than part of the ECM.

2007-03-29 [Sunrose]: I find a bit odd that he is using official banners for a contest that was not approved by the Council O_o
At least I don't remember this being part of the ECM..

2007-03-31 [xido]: Is there an issue with it? I did not know every ECM session was approved by the Council. The Vampire portion was added without any issues, why would the Fantasy Human be any different? I am merely running multiple sessions at once. This is a Creature Marathon.

2007-03-31 [iippo]: You are mixing personal projects with official ones to get your thing more attention. Or at least that's what it looks like to me from the outside. The fantasy human contest doesn't seem to conform to the EMC-wiki format in anyway. The page name doesn't follow the format (nitpicky I know, but if it was made as an EMC-page, why wouldn't it be named 'EMC fantasy human'?), you list rules on the page when the rules of EMC are listed in Elftown Creature Marathon, there seems to be no written part for the contest, and even the contest description is different from EMC ("design ET's fantasy human races" and not "make the best page online for fantasy humans")

I'm not saying that humans shouldn't be on the marathon or that you're doing a bad job, 'cause you work hard and are awesome in general. It's just that you've made it a lot about [xido] and little about Elftown.

2007-03-31 [Sunrose]: To me it feels you are doing things on your own now. Plus, you involved two unofficial wiki's without asking anyone.
Every official contest has to have an official monitoring the contest, to ensure everything runs according to the official format. Otherwise what is official about it?
If you are going to do anything outside of the contest, the Council should be enabled to approve of it first. Everyone on Elftown would like their private wikis promoted.

This marathon was [Hedda]'s idea, so it would to the least be a good idea to get him involved.
As for this creature; I understand pegasus' and vampires, but I have no idea what 'fantasy humans' are. 'Humans' would make more sense.
The point of this contest is to create the best online page about a certain creature, to attract more people to Elftown. This goal is reached the fastest by starting out with the most popular creatures. I don't think humans are it.
Edit: And what [iippo] said..

2007-04-02 [xido]: I see. I have removed the official banner from the page, and the contest from this page. I was not aware my actions had been seen so far from home base.

When I was passed the torch and asked to lead this contest, I acted in accordance with what I thought were good ethical actions. I merely started as many sessions as I thought might draw an audience and which I could still manage over my schedule. I also did not want to begin the dragon session until the vampire text portion was finished. The Human contest became a filler of sorts.

No worries. This isn't the first time I have been confronted on what I thought were solid grounds. Probably not the last either, I fear.

2007-04-02 [Sunrose]: As me and [iippo] both said your new session didn't even follow the format of ECM :/

2007-04-02 [BinaryPhoenix]: You can't win them all [xido]  ^_____^

2007-04-07 [xido]: I know. ;)

2007-09-13 [Sunrose]: Removed :)

2007-09-21 [xido]: Any ideas on what dates these sessions will be open? Do they all have to coincide?

2007-09-21 [Sunrose]: Not yet and preferably, because they all deserver the same amount of time to enter.

2008-01-21 [Hedda]: I changed the order of the moderators of ECM Fairy/Fae, because I don't want to be the first one. <img:stuff/dand-gif.gif>

2008-02-01 [J. "dragonruler" Rouse]: I think it would be neat to see contests for certain anthro works. They're not entirely fantasy genre I guess but it's an interesting idea.

2008-02-01 [windowframe]: Personally I think they fit perfectly into fantasy. :/ What else would they be?

2008-02-01 [sequeena_rae]: They're certainly not reality, I know that :P

2008-05-26 [Hedda]: [sequeena_rae]: What are you saying!!! <img:stuff/mood11-gif.gif> You mustn't say such evil truths here on Elftown!

2008-08-23 [tavis harts]: awww.. no satyr/fauns? 6.6 We get no love I swear.

2008-08-23 [windowframe]: We'll get round to them all eventually! :P So many creatures, so little time.

2008-09-05 [Flisky]: The next contest is werewolf, but what about other were-creatures? (This may be a stupid question.)
